ShiftFill AI

Autonomous shift scheduling

Stop morning panic. Fill shifts autonomously. The AI agent that manages your home health roster.

The Challenge

The Problem

Home health agencies lose countless hours every week to manual shift scheduling. When caregivers call out—which happens constantly—coordinators scramble through spreadsheets and phone trees trying to find coverage. It's stressful, error-prone, and pulls skilled staff away from actual patient care.

The existing solutions are either bloated enterprise software that takes months to implement, or simple scheduling apps that don't understand healthcare's unique constraints: certifications, patient relationships, travel time between visits, overtime regulations.

The Solution

The Approach

I built Shift Fill AI as an AI-first scheduling platform specifically for home health. The core innovation is an intelligent matching algorithm that considers multiple factors simultaneously:

- Caregiver certifications and patient requirements - Geographic proximity and travel time - Historical reliability and patient preferences - Overtime thresholds and labor regulations - Real-time availability via SMS integration

When a shift needs coverage, the system automatically identifies the best candidates and reaches out via text. Caregivers can accept with a simple reply—no app download required. The coordinator sees everything update in real-time.
